About Nick Lucich

Nick Lucich grew up in Patterson, California, on his parents' apricot orchard. He attended Patterson High School where he graduated as valedictorian in 1969. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley in 1973, with a degree in Rhetoric. While attending Berkeley, he served in the United States Naval Reserve. He received his law degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1976, where he was a member of the Law Review, Order of the Coif and the Thurston Society.

Upon graduation from law school, Nick joined the Fresno law firm of Rowell Lamberson, Thomas & Hiber and later co-founded Hiber & Lucich. He joined Helon & Manfredo in 1994.

Nick's practice focuses in the areas of estate planning, trusts and probate, including counseling and preparation of estate plans and assisting families, trustees and executors in administration of trusts and estates. He is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Nick has been an instructor for the Wills and Trusts class at San Joaquin College of Law in Fresno and for the California Continuing Education of the Bar annual update program in probate and estate planning. He has served as an officer of the Fresno County Bar Association Probate and Estate Planning Section.

Nick has attained an AV® rating from the Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings.

Nick and his wife Chris have two children. An avid bicyclist, Nick has successfully completed the Climb to Kaiser 23 times, recognized as one of the most challenging bicycle rides, including 9 times with Chris on their tandem.
