Marvin T. Helon was born May 2, 1953, in Fresno, California. Mr. Helon received his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in 1975 from California State University at Fresno and his Juris Doctorate degree from the San Joaquin College of Law in 1978. Following law school, he joined his father, Marvin E. Helon and Donald F. Manfredo in the law firm of Helon & Manfredo, LLP.

Mr. Helon has been a member of the Fresno County Bar Association and State Bar of California since 1978. He has served as a director of the Fresno County Bar Association. He has also served as Chairman of the Fresno County Bar Association Probate and Estate Planning Section. He is a member of the Business, Real Property and Estate Planning Sections of the State Bar of California.

His practice covers a range of matters, including business planning, business and real estate transactional matters, estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships and related litigation (both trial and appellate work). Mr. Helon has served as judge pro tem of the Fresno County Superior Court Probate Department. He has served as special master, and court appointed referee, guardian ad litem, and attorney in numerous estate and trust administration matters.

Mr. Helon has attained an AV® rating from the Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings.
